Joseph Wayne - my wonderful adorable 2 year old decided that the kitchen needed to be watered the same way as the grass yesterday. Here's the story. So, I brought some toys out of the backyard for the boys to play with. I did not take the time to put the adult lock back on the back door. (My fault) I went upstairs for JUST a couple minutes to slap some make-up on and hadn't got to the put my hair in a pony tail part yet, when I heard baby Derek screaming downstairs. I started coming downstairs to check on them and hear water pouring out somewhere. (Uh-oh moment) I come into the kitchen and see Joseph with the hose going full blast onto my kitchen floor!!! Ahhh! I grabbed the hose and turned it off as I raced around the house trying to find every towel and blanket possible. Luckily our house is on a slight slant towards the pantry so it did not go onto the carpet. My wonderful neighbor and friend Liz, who was coming over for a nice relaxing playdate, ended up spending the morning helping soak up my floor and move my appliances to get under them. Wow! Joseph and I had a little discussion about how the hose water stays on the grass. I just kept reminding myself all day about how much I love my two year old son even though he does some things that torture me at times!!!

That is definitely a story for posterity! You sound so calm. I probably would lose it. It sounds like you have some great friends and neighbors! We sure miss you, especially JoJo's spunk!
oh my!! I can't believe they did that. I guess it could have been so much worse!
Holy cow! I thought I had it rough sometimes with the things Kaden does. I'm glad Joseph is still alive after that. lol, j/k.
